Welcome to The Granary - Seriously Good Fish & Seafood
The Granary is situated on the 1st floor of the 200 year old Haven Mill, and has operated as a Restaurant for 26 Years.
We have utilised many artefacts from the original milling operation and added many nautical features to reflect the history of local milling and seagoing connections, with enough genuine antiques to grace a small museum.
Our aim is simple: to provide the best and freshest Seafood available, hence you won't get a printed menu when you arrive - We have a 'constantly updateable monochromatic display' (blackboard!) with all the days dishes to choose from.
Carnivores are also well catered for with locally supplied Beef, Lamb, Poultry and Game.
As well as the main restaurant, we have a large bar / lounge area, plus a private function room (The Corn Exchange) which is ideal for parties of up to 50 people.
We have a comprehensively stocked bar serving Batemans cask conditioned bitter, Carlsberg lager, draught cider and Guinness plus an eclectic wine list combining old and new world examples and some very reasonable bin-end bargains too!
You will always receive a warm welcome and the opportunity to try interesting and unusual seafood dishes not available on most restaurant menus.
